The speaker connector is a small contact through which the internal PC speaker interfaces with the motherboard. The speaker transforms electrical pulses into sonic vibrations. This allows warning beeps or activity-related sounds to be conveyed to the computer user. The speaker is also commonly used for rudimentary music and sound for computer games.
